Lowes Mount Truffiere

Cultural and Theme Tours Food and Wine Tours Half Day or Less

Join Lowes Mount Truffiere on a Saturday afternoon in June, July, and August, hunting for the elusive black truffle with labradors Morris and Floyd under the oak and hazelnut trees.

Lowes Mount Truffiere offer the opportunity to discover what happens in the truffle industry in a small group of 14 people. Walk through the truffiere, watch the dogs enjoy their work, smell the richness of ripe, fresh truffle in the ground and come back to the truffle shed for an explanation of the grading system. See how to use truffle and choose one to share with their truffle tasting plates.

A hunt with a four course lunch is also available on some Sundays. Please check the website for details.

Fresh truffle and preserved truffle products are available for purchase.
