Cosmopolitan Darlinghurst is the centre of Sydney’s gay scene, home to Sydney Mardi Gras. Darlinghurst’s main shopping strip is Oxford Street stretching from Hyde Park to South Dowling Street. Here you’ll find everything from alternative clothing boutiques, late-night book shops and music stores to supermarkets,pubs, clubs and bars. It’s also a great place for people-watching.
