Tyalgum is a small, pretty town nestled in the foothills of Mount Warning, the worlds largest extinct shield volcano. Every September the annual Tyalgum Classical Music Festival is held in the Tyalgum Hall that is famous for its great acoustics.
Visit the arts and crafts shops for local handicrafts and home wares, or enjoy fresh delicious treats and coffee at Flutterbies Cottage Cafe, found in the Old Bakery building. Take a stroll along the creek or visit the Tyalgum Pub that has a local swimming pool. Tyalgum offers spectacular views and open spaces for picnics.
