Brisbane Greeters

Half Day or Less

Brisbane Greeters embody the warmth and friendliness that Brisbane is recognised for and over the past eight years, have shared their passion for Brisbane with more than 80,000 people.

One of the best ways to get to know Brisbane is through the eyes of a skilled and knowledgeable local. The friendly greeters are proud and passionate volunteers who are keen to share Brisbane’s stories, show you some great spots and introduce you to their vibrant city.

There are over eight different tours available to book from, from exploring the local suburbs to learning the fascinating history of Brisbane.

Whether you’ve been a local all your life, visiting family and friends, or calling Brisbane your new home, they’re looking forward to meeting you. Brisbane Greeters have more than 100 Greeters who can help you find your way in more than 20 languages.

The health and safety of their Greeters and participants remains a key priority. All tours are conducted within a COVID Safe environment.

The Brisbane Greeters Program will continue to run free walking tours, volunteer at Council events and festivals and extend its reach into their thriving suburbs, as well as Brisbane City.
