The Paddocks offers tranquil, self-contained luxury accommodation on a historic 42 acre Barossa Valley farm.

The hobby farm with sheep, horses, alpacas, poultry and an olive grove, houses two private, well-appointed suites. The Vineyard and Olive Grove suites both have their own private courtyards overlooking the farm gardens, paddocks, vineyards and the hills beyond.

Just over an hour’s drive from Adelaide airport, The Paddocks is the ideal retreat from which to explore the South Australian countryside as well as the premier wine regions of the Barossa, Clare and Adelaide Hills. A haven for wine and food lovers, The Paddocks is literally a five-minute walk to Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop and centrally located between award winning wineries, quality restaurants, bicycle trails.

On arrival guests are welcomed with a cheese platter and if booking through our website a complimentary bottle of Whistler Wines or Rolf Binder Wines. We also offer complimentary transport to guests wishing to partake in the Rockford Lunch or the Hentley Farm Lunch.

All this, as well as luxury accommodation located in a peaceful setting where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the sounds of the birds and animals.

Olive Grove Suite

The Olive Grove Suite is situated in the rear of the homestead and has lovely views out to the rear of the property overlooking the garden, rear paddocks (and most likely the resident sheep and alpacas) and neighbouring vineyard. The king sized bed is situated opposite the glass sliding doors, so you can enjoy breakfast in bed and look out upon the morning’s peaceful beginning.
