Camel Hump Lookout Walk

Natural Attractions

Camel’s Hump Lookout Walk is accessed approximately 2 kilometres south of Hawker on Quorn road. This is also a very easy walk from the town and is a short climb for panoramic views of Hawker and the ranges. This is an activity close to Hawker and is an ideal spot for photographers.

Early morning and evening walkers usually see kangaroos, Lizards (gidgee skinks) and birds. From this point and Castle Rock lookout just east of Hawker, great photos can be taken in the low-angle light early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
