Join us for a rewarding weekend trip to help save Australia’s iconic Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat at Brookfield Conservation Park.
This 2-day eco tour plays a critical role in supporting the long term survival of wombat populations in South Australia’s Riverland district. Experience wildlife conservation first-hand with field experts in researching emerging health issues of wildlife caused by the pressures of climate change and reduced food source.
There are also opportunities to spot and learn about native wildlife such as wombat, emu, kangaroo, goanna and local bird species.Family Friendly Non-Smoking
Join us for a rewarding weekend trip at Brookfield Conservation Park. During this program you will assist with bird survey activities involving observations and data collection. This survey work plays an important role in bridging knowledge gaps about our mallee woodland bird species. You will also enjoy a guided walk of the Park and experience close encounters with Australian wildlife including wombats, kangaroos, emus and various bird species during this important research program.
