Welcome to Rivergum Cruises. Join your hosts, James and Sandra, on their brand new boat ‘Qatar’ for a relaxing cruise up or down the Murray River, enjoying the quiet, smooth waters around Waikerie in the Riverland.
Get up close and personal with nature and see the unique bird life, native flora and local fauna while cruising past 100 foot majestic limestone cliffs and glorious native gum and mallee trees on the picturesque banks of the Murray River.
Short 2.5 or 3.5 hour river cruises and Design Your Own cruises are also available.
The boat carries up to 11 passengers with plenty of room to move around the boat.
Bookings are essential.

**Due to the high river and strong flow at the moment we will NOT be offering this cruise until further notice**
You will be picked up from your local accommodation in the Rivergum Shuttle Bus between 9.45am and 10am, then depart Waikerie Riverfront on board Qatar at 10.30am.
Cruise down river to Lock Two where you will see majestic limestone cliffs, wildlife and local vineyards.
Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee along with a platter on board while relaxing on the smooth waters of the Murray River.
Local wines and beers will be available to purchase from our licensed bar along with an assortment of other drinks.
Enjoy a delicious lunch platter overlooking the beautiful Murray River at the lock grounds, and if you are lucky you’ll get to watch a vessel enter the lock to see how it works.
After lunch, walk back to Qatar to continue cruising upstream to Waikerie while enjoying local wines and beers with a complimentary platter on board.
You will disembark at the Waikerie Riverfront at approximately 4pm, ready to be transported back to your accommodation on the Rivergum Shuttle Bus.

Leaving Waikerie Riverfront on board Qatar we will cruise downstream on the smooth waters of the River Murray, seeing the houseboat marina, wildlife and the majestic limestone cliffs.
Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a local platter on board.
Turning around at Broken Cliffs we head back upstream to Waikerie Riverfront.
Local wines and beers will be available to purchase from our licensed bar along with an assortment of other drinks.
The Broken Cliffs Cruise will keep you entertained for approximately 3.5 hours.
This cruise can be offered at different times of the day as advertised or by prior arrangement.

Leaving Waikerie Riverfront on board Qatar we cruise upstream on the smooth waters of the Murray River. You will see the canoe tree, ski beach, majestic limestone cliffs and wildlife.
Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a local platter on board while sitting back relaxing, and then turning around at Yarra Cliffs we head back down stream to Waikerie Riverfront.
Local wines and beers will be available to purchase from our licensed bar along with an assortment of other drinks.
The Yarra Cliffs Cruise will keep you entertained for approximately 2.5 hours.
This cruise can be offered at different times of the day as advertised or by prior arrangement.

The Ramco Redgum Cruise will keep you entertained for approximately 2.5 hours.

Delightful Day Cruise
You will be picked up from local accommodation in the Rivergum Shuttle Bus between 7.45am – 8.00am and depart Waikerie riverfront on board Qatar at 8.30am.
We cruise up river to Banrock Creek where you will see majestic limestone cliffs, wildlife and historic landmarks.
Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a local gourmet platter on board while relaxing on the smooth waters of the River Murray.
Local wines & beers will be available to purchase from our licensed bar along with an assortment of other drinks.
You will disembark on the banks of the Banrock Creek at approx. 1.00pm and be transported by the Rivergum Shuttle Bus up to the Banrock Station Wine & Wetland Centre, arriving at approx. 1.15pm.
Feel free to purchase a sumptuous meal and local ales and then relax and enjoy the afternoon or go on one of the short self-guided walking trails.
You will leave Banrock Station at approx. 4.00pm and be transported back to Waikerie on the Rivergum Shuttle Bus and returned to your accommodation.

Delightful Day Cruise
You will be picked up from local accommodation in the Rivergum Shuttle Bus between 10.00am – 10.15am and be transported to Banrock Station Wine & Wetland Centre, arriving at approx. 10.45am.
Free wine tasting will be available and a complimentary drink of your choice on arrival, overlooking the beautiful wetlands area.
Feel free to purchase a sumptuous meal and local ales at the Wine & Wetland Centre before departing on the Rivergum Shuttle Bus at 1.30pm ready to go on our cruise.
We depart Banrock Creek riverfront at 2.00pm and cruise downstream on board Qatar where you will see majestic limestone cliffs, wildlife and historic landmarks.
Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a local gourmet platter on board while relaxing on the smooth waters back to Waikerie,
Local wines & beers will be available to purchase from our licensed bar along with an assortment of other drinks.
You will disembark at Waikerie riverfront at approx. 6.15pm, ready to be transported in the Rivergum Shuttle Bus back to your accommodation.

You will be picked up from local accommodation in the Rivergum Shuttle Bus between 8.15am – 8.30am and depart Waikerie riverfront on board Qatar at 9.00am.
Enjoy a leisurely cruise downstream through Lock 2, seeing majestic limestone cliffs, wildlife, local vineyards and the old distillery.
Relax with a complimentary tea or coffee and a local gourmet platter on board while cruising down the smooth waters of the Murray River.
Local wines & beers will be available to purchase from our licensed bar along with an assortment of other drinks.
After seeing the Lock in action, the cruise will continue to Caudo Vineyard where you will disembark at approx. 1.00pm.
Feel free to purchase the local tasting platter and the BBQ Grill for lunch while you try the Caudo’s famous Sangria then turn your own meat on the BBQ and cook to your liking.
You will depart Caudo’s at approx 4pm and be transported back to Waikerie on the Rivergum Shuttle Bus and returned to your accommodation.

You will be picked up from local accommodation in the Rivergum Shuttle Bus between 10.00am – 10.15am and be transported out to Caudo Vineyard, arriving at approx. 10.45am.
You can enjoy free wine tasting, whilst overlooking the beautiful Murray River.
Feel free to purchase the local tasting platter and the BBQ Grill for lunch while you try the Caudo’s famous Sangria, then turn your own meat on the BBQ and cook to your liking.
Depart Caudo’s riverfront at 2.00pm and cruise up river on board Qatar through Lock 2 seeing majestic limestone cliffs, wildlife, local vineyards and the old distillery.
After seeing the Lock in action, enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a local gourmet platter on board while relaxing on the smooth waters back to Waikerie.
Local wines & beers will be available to purchase from our licensed bar along with an assortment of other drinks.
You will disembark at the Waikerie riverfront at approximately 6.15pm, ready to be transported in the Rivergum Shuttle Bus back to your accommodation.

We will cruise both upstream and downstream on board Qatar on the smooth waters of the River Murray, seeing majestic limestone cliffs, wildlife and the tranquillity of the river.
Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a local platter on board while seeing the sun set on the Waikerie cliffs downstream and the beauty of the Murray River.
Look out for kangaroos coming down to the river for a drink and marvel at the bird life as the day comes to an end.

The Sunset Cruise will keep you entertained for approximately 2.25 hours.
This cruise is offered approx. 2 hours before sunset and will vary in times throughout the year.
