A multicultural tour of South Australia’s night sky with laser pointer and large telescope. Enjoy an evening of traditional stargazing and modern astronomy in a small group tour with an experienced local guide. Discover a night sky that’s nearly as dark as the Outback but much closer to Adelaide.

Carpark Family Friendly Non Smoking Public ToiletThe Backyard Universe offer two types of minibus shuttle service for the southern Heysen Trail & Wild South Coast Way:
Point to point – Head to your walk finish location, and the minibus meets you there and transfers you to your walk starting location. You then walk back to your finish location.
Accommodation to point – The minibus picks you up from your accommodation and transfers you to your walk starting location. At a prearranged time, they will meet you at your walk finishing location and return you to your accommodation.
Why restrict yourself to the handful of locations serviced by metropolitan taxis and big buses? Their coverage extends from the Cape Jervis trailhead to Kuitpo Forest (near Meadows), using multiple locations that are spaced a half-day or full-day walk apart.
Accommodation coverage includes the Fleurieu Peninsula, Victor Harbor and South Coast, and McLaren Vale. The minibus carries 1 to 11 passengers plus backpacks per trip. All trips are charged as Flat Rate.

All of their equipment is portable, so if you have a suitable location at your venue, The Backyard Universe can come to you.
