Memory Lane Cottages offers heritage-style bed and breakfast accommodation in central Hobart. Memory Lane Cottages are located in Brisbane Street, a short walk from the central business district.
Built from handmade bricks in 1890, these conjoined cottages are heritage-listed and decorated in period style with antiques and colonial memorabilia. A steep staircase leads to attic bedrooms with dormer windows. Both cottages have a double and twin bedroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities. The lounge rooms have open log fires and there is also electric heating. Breakfast is provided to guests, and parking is off-street just at the front door !

Typically a Cottage has one or more bedrooms, a separate living area, cooking facilities and its own bathing and toilet facilities, all accessed from within the apartment. Memory Lane has a steep staircase up to attic bedrooms, a double and a single and a twin room. The bathroom is on the ground floor, with a kitchenette, dining area and a sitting room, with an open wood fire. There is a small garden area at the rear and parking at the front door.
