Get up close and personal with the southern hemisphere’s highest sea cliffs and resident Australian fur seals. This exhilarating adventure will have you kayaking along the coast of the Tasman National Park towards Cape Hauy, a star feature of Tasmania’s newest world-class hike – the Three Capes Track.

At sea level you’ll truly appreciate the scale of Australia’s highest sea cliffs, gazing up at 200-metre-high fluted rock formations, peering into natural sea caves, photographing the towering Candlestick, and searching for climbers on the Totem Pole – a sheer column famed amongst thrill-seeking rock climbers.

Enjoy our gourmet Tasmanian lunch at a deserted cove, paddle over a semi-submerged shipwreck and marvel at the abundant marine wildlife that lives along this coast, including resident fur seals, soaring sea eagles, diving gannets, cliff-nesting cormorants, peregrine falcons, and if we’re lucky – a pod of dolphins or a migrating whale.

Nestled between river and mountain, Hobart has one of the most picturesque harbours in the world. Join our two-and-a-half-hour city paddle and we’ll take you behind the scenes of this vibrant, working waterfront to discover the true heart of Hobart.

Glide past prestigious homes perched along the edge of Hobart’s oldest suburb, hear stories of the historic Battery Point, marvel at Hobart’s wooden tall sailing ships, keep an eye out for Sammy the resident seal, hope for a pod of dolphins, peer through crystal-clear water at native sea stars, perhaps get up close and personal with a giant cruise ship, and take photos of Hobart from a rarely seen perspective.

Your discovery of Hobart wouldn’t be complete without some locally caught fish and chips from the city’s famed floating fish punts. Enjoy them with the best view in town – straight from your kayak!

No paddling experience is necessary, and this paddle is suitable for younger paddlers who can team up with an adult or one of our guides.

This kayaking exploration of the calm waters of Bathurst Harbour and the Narrows is an ideal way to experience the majesty of the World Heritage Area wilderness if your time is at a premium, or you’re new to paddling or wilderness camping.

This trip uses a standing camp as a base, making this a wilderness kayaking experience with a splash of comfort. Visit the unique Celery Top Islands, paddle past ancient Huon pines, admire the mirror-like reflections at Moulters Inlet or walk Mt Beattie for stunning views of Bathurst Harbour. Trips are framed around the group’s interests and the prevailing weather.

This typically results in three to four hours of paddling each day with frequent rest stops and relaxing lunch breaks.

This trip is Australia’s ultimate multi-day sea-kayaking experience and has been named by Lonely Planet as one of the world’s ten epic sea-kayak paddles. It offers a combination of sheltered waterways and a rugged coast exposed to the Southern Ocean in a remote wilderness. Group sizes are limited to ten, with two guides, giving all participants an intimate encounter with Tasmania’s famous Wilderness World Heritage Area.

Days will be spent exploring one of Tasmania’s most beautiful coastlines, paddling through perfect reflections in the tannin-stained waters, beneath mountains that rise from the shore and stopping in at remote beaches. Previous kayaking experience is not necessary, but all participants need to be in reasonable shape, are comfortable with wilderness camping and, most of all, have a sense of adventure.

Enjoy a relaxed paddle exploring Hobart’s diverse river and coast and discover why picturesque Storm Bay at the mouth of Hobart’s River Derwent is a favourite weekend playground of locals.
This paddle starts just 20 km from the city but you will experience an astounding variety of scenery.

Paddle amongst tranquil bays and beneath lichen-covered cliffs, explore sea caves, enjoy views of Bruny Island and leave your footprints on idyllic sandy beaches.

For lunch, enjoy Tasmania’s famous produce whilst relaxing on one of our many beautiful beaches.
Throughout your day, keep a look-out for the abundant wildlife that calls this Tinderbox Marine Reserve home, including majestic white-bellied sea eagles, stingrays, seals and if we’re lucky a pod of dolphins or a migrating whale.

This full-day paddle is operated in a one-way direction, depending on the forecast wind direction. It is a relaxed paddle and suitable for beginners and children over 12 when accompanied by an adult.

Experience the clear waters, long sandy beaches and granite peaks of Flinders Island.

Touring Flinders Island on land offers a dramatic array of scenery – lush countryside, granite mountains, white beaches and secluded bays. But seeing this island from the water intensifies its magnificence. As you’re skimming over the blue waters surrounding the island, it seems the mountains rise from the sea and stand as granite overlords to the paddocks, bush and coastline.

The beaches are often bereft of humans with just the birds and wildlife and on the water the feeling is the same; just the birds above and the fishlife in the clear waters below.

We love how laidback island life is and we can’t wait to share some of the stunning coastal scenery and hidden gems. There’s also an abundance of fresh, local food to enjoy and the chance to meet some of the interesting characters that make up the wonderful community on Flinders Island. And that includes the abundance of wildlife – wombats, wallabies, Cape Barren Geese to mention a few.
