Melbourne By Bike tours offer the smallest bicycle group tour in Melbourne, guided by a professional local. You will be exposed to what you cannot find alone, as your guide aims to give you the best possible overview of Melbourne.

This is perfect for your first day in Melbourne; a map provided at the end of the tour inclusive of key locations marked on it to explore after the tour.

Look and explain stops. Lunch is included.

Please note that guests are required to be over five feet (150 centimetres) in height to use tour bikes. Minimum two, maximum of eight participants per tour.

There are three start locations; Federation Square (most popular), Port Melbourne (arriving by cruise) and St Kilda (warmer months only).

There will be a new office and start location from the first of November.

Melbourne By Bike is fully insured. Melbourne by Bike offer a 100 percent wet weather refund policy. Australian Tourism accredited. Bookings cancelled by guest less than three days prior will be charged a 100 percent fee.

This tour begins near the cruise ship terminal in Port Melbourne only during the warmer months.

With dedicated bike paths and an impressive network of on-road bike lanes, you will discover why Melbourne has been voted one of the world’s most bike-friendly cities and the world’s most liveable city.

The goal of this tour is to ensure you see the many facets of Melbourne life – the seaside, the eating, coffee, fashion, sports and cultural edginess of Melbourne, through the eyes of a local. A casual lunch is included.

The terrain of Melbourne is generally flat, but this tour is recommended for a slightly fitter client due to the kilometres that are covered (approximately 15 kilometres). All participants must be over 150 centimetres (five feet). 100 percent refund on poor weather days.

Melbourne By Bike would love to infect you with their passion for Melbourne and have fun with you along the way. Melbourne By Bike specialises in small, personally tailored rides with a professional, mature, local guide.

This is a tour requiring some riding, a stop to chat and look, and more riding.

This flexible tour includes a four hour guided tour, casual lunch, bike and a helmet.

You will visit and learn about Federation Square, Melbourne’s sports and arts precinct, hidden bars, cafes with a vibe, cool laneways, Queen Victoria Market, Parliament House, the street art culture, Melbourne Museum, Royal Exhibition Buildings and much more. You can help determine the itinerary with a brief chat at the start.

This tour starts at 10:00am from Federation Square in the city, next to the Melbourne Visitor Centre at the blue bikeshare station. There is no office. The guide will be wearing a yellow jacket/vest. 100 percent refund on poor weather days.

Ride the 30 kilometre loop following the Yarra River. The Capital City Trail is a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians, which circles the Melbourne city centre and some inner eastern and northern suburbs.
