Phillip Island Helicopters operate scenic flights over the impressive coastline of Phillip Island. Passing over Smiths beach, Surfers Point and Cunningham Bay, this tour presents spectacular views of the Phillip Island Moto Grand Prix track.

Flying overland to Berrys Reef, past Kitty Miller Bay and Summerland Beach, home to the Phillip Island Penguins, before arriving at seal rocks.

Seal Rocks are home to up to 20,000 Australian Fur Seals, the largest colony in Australia.

You will then fly along the coast, with fantastic island views, back to the airport.

Grand Prix Circuit

Phillip Island Helicopter takes you south in this scenic flight,before turning right at the coast for world famous Grand Prix track.

Along the way you will pass Smiths beach and Surfers Point and then start to head inland for a circuit around our famous track, home to the Australian Moto Grand Prix, World Superbikes and the Phillip Island V8 Supercars as well as numerous other races.

You will do a lap of the circuit before returning home via the coast.

Cowes Jetty

Phillip Island Helicopters operate scenic flights over the impressive coastline of Phillip Island. Departing the airport and heading North-West for Cowes; this is a great flight to see the diversity of Phillip Island.

Upon reaching the coast east of Cowes, passing the jetty and beach at this very popular holiday destination. Continuing on past Red Rocks Point then Ventnor we pass a series of reefs before the spectacular Nobbies and Seal Rocks come into view.

On the way back to the airport, pass the Penguin Parade, Pyramid Rock and the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit.

Then it’s back to airport for more photos with the pilots.

Phillip Island

Phillip Island Helicopters full island tour departs from the airport, turning left at the coast for Cape Woolamai and following the Woolamai Surf Beach, regarded as one of the best surf beaches in the country, before flying around the Cape itself.

Fly over the water towards the San Remo Bridge with great views of San Remo and Newhaven. Following the coast to Rhyll and it’s Inlet where migratory birds fly thousands of kilometres to feed. Then it’s on to Cowes, Red Rocks Point then Ventnor before the spectacular Nobbies and Seal Rocks come into view. Seal Rocks are home to Australia’s largest colony of Fur seal’s.

Then heading east, fly past Summerland beach, home to the World famous Penguin Parade then onto Pyramid Rock and the Moto Grand Prix circuit, then wave to the swimmers and surfers on Smiths beach and Surfers Point before returning to the airport.

What a view

Depart the airport to the South East and fly around the magnificent Cape Woolamai. From here track along the coast past the Punchbowl and Kilcunda. With the wind turbines in view, you will be able to see Victoria’s largest infrastructure project, the Victorian Desalination Plant. After a lap of the site they track westbound heading for home, not before flying over San Remo.

With amazing views of both Bass Strait and Westernport Bay, this is a flight not to be missed. Then it’s back to the airport for more photos with the pilots.

Depart the airport in a North-West direction passing Rhyll, then onto Cowes passing the jetty and beach at this very popular holiday destination. Upon reaching Cowes, set off heading for the Mornington Peninsula!

On the trip towards the popular coastline you will take in views of Red Hill and its famous winery region. Along with Arthurs Seat and then Port Phillip Bay. With the bay directly out the front window they turn towards the south and head for the township of Sorrento passing some of the popular seaside towns such as Dromana, Rosebud and Rye.

Continue South passing over the Sorrento surf beach then follow the coast around towards Cape Schank. On the way back to the airport, follow Phillip Island’s south coast passing Seal Rocks, Summerland Bay and the Penguin Parade, Pyramid Rock and the Moto Grand Prix circuit.
