Apex Park

Parks and Gardens

Apex Park is one of several charming parklands in the historic inland town of Northam. It offers a lovely vantage point to admire the beauty and tranquillity of the Avon River whilst watching the graceful White swans gliding through the calm waters. Relax on the grass under the shade of one of many trees with a good book.

Children will be entertained in the well-equipped, shaded children’s playground. Enjoy a barbecue in the park or bring along a picnic. Enjoy a walk or ride along the Avon River. A pedestrian path takes you to the Suspension Bridge across the other side of the river and back to Apex Park via the Peel Terrace Bridge.

Northam is renowned for being the only natural breeding ground of White Swans in Australia. Stop in at the visitor centre to collect bread to feed these magnificent creatures whilst walking around the river. Apex Park is in the centre of Northam which is an hour and a half drive northeast of Perth.
