Culham Inlet

Natural Attractions

Culham Inlet, just west of Hopetoun, is a land locked estuary that offers exceptional fishing opportunities and picturesque lookouts. Climb to the top of the East Mount Barren lookout for spectacular panoramic views across the inlet, Steere and Phillip Rivers that drain into the inlet as well as the Southern Ocean.

Take a bush walk around the estuary and surrounding land or just relax and enjoy the enticing calm turquoise waters. Culham Inlet is also home to a plethora of bird species and a set of binoculars would be advisable for those interested in bird watching.

The scenic town of Hopetoun is just 10 minutes drive from the popular Fitzgerald River National Park. Located seven hours southeast of Perth and only two and a half hours west of Esperance, nature lovers will be spellbound by the beauty of the region.
