Separation Point Lookout

Historical Sites and Heritage Locations

Spectacular panoramic views of the picturesque coastal city of Geraldton can be seen from Separation Point Lookout. Watch windsurfers gliding the idyllic waters with the greatest of ease and boats heading out to the Abrolhos Islands. Surfers may also like to take advantage of the popular surf break at Separation Point.

Alternatively, stroll along the beach or extend your walk to the iconic red and white candy stripes of Point Moore Lighthouse. The lighthouse is not open to the public but you can enjoy the excellent views over Geraldton and the bay and discover the history of the 1878 lighthouse.

Geraldton is a four-hour drive north of Perth. If time permits, neighbouring Greenough is recognised as the best-preserved nineteenth-century town in Australia and well worth a visit.
