Visiting the Australian National Botanic Gardens gives you the chance to explore around one fifth of Australia’s diverse and spectacular flora in Canberra’s bushland setting.
With over 4,300 plant species set on 35 hectares, the Australian National Botanic Gardens is the only place in the world you will see this diversity of Australian native plants in one location.

The Gardens’ Flora Explorer tours depart from the Visitor Centre at 11.30 am on weekends and public holidays only.
Sit back, relax and enjoy a 45-minute guided journey and discover some of the Australian National Botanic Gardens’ highlights. This is your chance to see the Gardens like you may have never seen them before.
Tickets can be purchased from the Botanical Bookshop – located inside the Visitor Centre.
