Capital Warbirds

Air, Helicopter and Balloon Tours

Capital Warbirds provides a once in a lifetime flight experience. Enjoy the thrill of an Adventure Flight in the Soviet Union’s “Pilot Maker”, the Yak 52. Marvel at the best scenery in the world around the Canberra Region sedately; or roll, loop, and turn for the most amazing ride there is. From sightseeing to Top Gun, it’s your choice.

The Yak-52 was designed originally as an aerobatic trainer for students in the Soviet DOSAAF training organisation, which trained both civilian sport and military pilots. Your Pilot has been flying aircraft professionally for over 35 years so you know you’re in safe hands. Learning to fly with the Royal Australian Air Force at the age of 18, Ian is now a commercial Pilot with QANTAS Airways.
