John Howard Prime Ministerial Library (UNSW Canberra)

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Hosted by UNSW Canberra, and located within Old Parliament House, the John Howard Prime Ministerial Library houses more than 10,000 items of personal papers, official records, political memorabilia, photographs, and documents from John Howard’s political career, from 1974 to 2007.

Reflecting John Howard’s view of politics as a contest of ideas, the Library presents the collection to highlight the challenges and priorities of his government.

The Library will re-open once repairs to Old Parliament House are completed.
