The Outward Bound Junior program offers 12-15 year-olds, five full days of fun, challenge and personal development. Enroll your young person today and give them a gift that will last them for years to come.

Outward Bound Junior is more than just a school holiday program for teenagers. By providing a fun and challenging environment, young adolescents are encouraged to explore their potential through adventure, all the while supported by expert instructors. Outward Bound instructors facilitate each activity to ensure a positive and educational experience is had by all.

The 5-day program for ages 12-15, offers activities such as a high-ropes course, orienteering, and hiking. Emerging teenagers on Outward Bound Junior are stimulated in a positive and constructive environment. By providing “a place apart” Outward Bound programs help young people re-connect with what is real and important in their lives and to get away from the distractions of mobile phones and social media.

Formerly called Navigator, Outward Bound Expedition is a 10-day adventure of self-discovery for teens and emerging adults keen to learn bushcraft and challenge themselves in the natural world.

Held in the April and September school holidays, Outward Bound Expedition is a youth development program that will give you personal motivation, boost your self-esteem and confidence, and provide you with the skills to map your journey of self-discovery. Through adventure, laughter and some one-on-one with the wilderness, you’ll find you’re capable of more than you thought possible.

The Expedition program qualifies for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold Residential Project. Classification: Activity based – Outdoor adventure courses.
