ANU 75th Anniversary

Community Event

1 Aug 2021 Once Only Event

On 1 August 1946, ANU was established by an Act of Federal Parliament. To this day, they are still the only university that has been created by the Parliament of Australia. Over the past 75 years, they have made a remarkable impact and contribution to the nation through their research, education and policy. They will launch their year-long 75th Anniversary celebrations by coming together as a community to celebrate on Sunday 1 August. This will coincide with the launch of the next strategic plan, signalling the direction of the University and reaffirming their national mission. Join them this year as they honour their past, celebrate the present and make their future. You’re invited to participate in all of the free 75th Anniversary events on the 1-2 August in the Kambri Precinct, Acton, Canberra.
