Coordinated as a joint effort by the Australian National University, and the Canberra community, the 2019 ANU Farmers Market will take place on the newly revamped ANU Acton campus.
“A day of fresh food, fun stallholders, and meet the Aussie Farmer!”
The event is free to the public and you can expect to find a mix of live entertainment and student and community stalls showcasing their offerings in food, fashion, and plants as well as local community organisations being part of an eco expo, with workshops on waste, recycling, and more. An opportunity to listen to live music, savour food from the eclectic food stalls, and purchase direct from the producer fresh and seasonal produce. Stallholders fees will contribute to fundraising to support Australian farmers who’ve been affected by the current drought of 2018.
Be welcomed onto ANU campus by the aromas of warm bread, seasonal fruit and fresh coffee. Hear live music and browse through stalls of both student and community entrepreneurs selling items such as hand designed apparel, tote bags, and succulents in recycled containers, plus much more!
Remember to bring your own shopping bags/baskets and cash on the day.
