Arc Out Loud: Wayne’s World Quote-a-Long

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia is continuing their series of interactive, ‘out loud’ screenings.

Some films deserve hushed reverence and quiet contemplation… these are not those films.

Join Wayne Campbell (Mike Myers) and Garth Algar (Dana Carvey), hosts of cable access show, Wayne’s World. They must navigate taking their home-grown show, broadcast out of Wayne’s basement, to a commercially sponsored spot under the guidance of slimy producer Benjamin (Rob Lowe).

Will they bow to their sponsor? Will Wayne save his relationship from Benjamin’s deceptive advances? Will Garth finally talk to Dream Woman? Will there be a Scooby Doo-style reveal at the end?

One of the most successful spin-off movies to come from a Saturday Night Live skit, Wayne’s World isa cultural phenomenon and remains a cult classic.
