Art Exhibition ‘Connections: Wildlife of Tidbinbilla’

Exhibition and Shows

31 Aug 2019 to 5 Dec 2019

‘Connections: Wildlife of Tidbinbilla’ is an exhibition of paintings of the unique and vulnerable species who call Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve home, by Canberran artist Emily Birks.

In a world with rapidly escalating environmental issues, artist Emily Birks is inspired by the work Australian ecologists are doing to preserve our native species. She creates highly detailed ink on paper portraits showing the beauty and character of each animal subject, while also telling the story of their importance to the environment.
