Australian Native Bonsai Show; a collection of native bonsai by members of the Canberra Bonsai Society featuring a wide variety of bonsai styles. Some trees are from the personal collections of artists featured at the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection at the National Arboretum.
In addition to viewing the bonsai on display, visitors will be able to:
• attend demonstrations at 2:00pm each day, showcasing the techniques used, and considerations needed, when training Australian plants as bonsai.
• join guided walks through the Gardens, visiting full sized versions of species represented in the Exhibition. Tours depart from Crosbie Morrison Building at 12:00pm daily. Groups will be restricted to 15 participants.
• vote for their favourite bonsai, and
• buy tickets in the raffle, with prizes including an Australian native bonsai and two books.
