Becoming Colleen + Q&A with director Ian Thomson

Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

30 Nov 2019

More than a documentary about the coming out of an elderly trans woman, this is a timely and poignant portrait of two people whose love transcends their traditional gender roles, a small community that comes together to support a friend in pursuit of her greatest dream, and the joy of finding the perfect pair of shoes.

Colleen’s journey is both heartwarming and heartbreaking as we meet her support network of friends and family but are confronted with the harsh reality of the ongoing barriers trans people still face today.

Join us after the screening for a Q&A with director Ian Thomson.
