Big Canberra Bike Ride

The Big Canberra Bike Ride is Canberra’s annual celebration of cycling and the capital’s largest mass participation ride.

This non-competitive event brings together over one thousand riders of all ages and abilities, offering a unique opportunity to cycle safely through the heart of Canberra alongside other happy riders.

There’s something for everyone, with rides to suit all levels of skill and experience:

6 km Big Family Ride

32 km Big Community Ride

70 km Big Dam Ride

120 km Big Tidbinbilla Ride

Families love riding in safety together past some of Canberra’s most iconic buildings while being entertained by roving musicians and entertainers. While more serious riders love being able to go on a challenging supported ride that starts and finishes in the heart of the city.

All rides start and finish at the Event Hub in front of Old Parliament House where participants can enjoy live entertainment, food, drink and bicycle-related activities.
