Quilt of Hope

The Quilt of Hope was crafted by the survivors of institutional sexual abuse in Ballart. The project, created by the Ballarat community group, Moving Towards Justice, acknowledges and memorialises those who have both survived sexual abuse and those who did not.

This quilt, which features 88 squares embroidered with symbols and text in red thread, represents the significant stories survival and loss of the victims.
