13 May 2023 Once Only Event
Join the National Archives of Australia for a high tea and hear how the Country Women’s Association has pushed for social change in Australia.
Join them for a high tea and a talk by CWA Belconnen Branch Vice President, Chris Rowley, as they explore the ideas behind ‘more than tea and scones’.
The morning will start with a tour of the exhibition, Disrupt, persist, invent: Australians in an ever-changing world. This exhibition explores the power of banding together to create change and improve our world.
One of the stories featured in the exhibition is the role the CWA has played in supporting the lives of women in remote and regional Australia.
This event will be followed by tea and canapes in the café as you hear from the CWA and discuss its important work. Come along for a great Saturday morning out!
