Language Party – Canberra

Community Event

1 Dec 2019

Celebrate UN Year of Indigenous Languages and join us for an evening of beauty and inspiration with storytelling from Ngunawal Country, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Listen to the sounds and rhythms of the original languages, with translations made into English.

Bring friends, family, a picnic, and a blanket. Afterwards, pull up a chair for our fireside chat with local traditional custodian, Wally Bell, for an intimate account of Canberra’s Ngunawal culture.
