NAIDOC in the North

Festivals and Celebrations

21 Apr 2021 Biennial Event

NAIDOC in the North is a free, family-friendly celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through story, song, art, dance and ceremony. It is held in Canberra, on the lands of the Ngunnawal people, and welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds to learn from our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community through workshops, performances, activities and entertainment.

This year, we’re doing things a bit differently and bringing recordings of some of Canberra’s best Aboriginal performers directly to your lounge room with a series of online performances that will be released throughout the week. For more information visit the website.
