Horologists, saddlers, book binders, weavers, taxidermists, sound engineers, and many more. These professionals are not anachronisms but thriving business’s using heritage skills in the digital world. Traders will be demonstrating their work and some will be selling their wares. Many are coming to the event as they are looking for new apprentices, meet them in person and talk about their careers.

On Saturday the 13th July at the Visions Theatre in the National Museum of Australia. 6-8.30pm there will be the following guest speakers.

Guest speakers:
Jan Muller Director of the National Film and Sound Archive. “Globally, 50 more years, until we no longer need analogue sound engineers.”

Scott McMillan from McMillan Heritage Plastering, Master Craftsman Plasterer

David Hallam Conservator ( Metals) Skills already lost in Australia.
