In the heart of Woolley St. enjoy the Origami Workshop and Paper Festival. Learn the traditional art of paper folding – from intricate origami cranes to simple paper stars.
All material will be provided on the day and you’ll be guided by local origami experts Makiko from ‘Makico. Happy Creations’ and Nicolle.
What’s on the agenda:
10am – Origami demonstration by Makico – for public viewing
10:45 – Origami Workshop by Makico – sign up on whiteboard (limited spaces)
12pm – Towel Bear Demonstration by Makico – for public viewing
12:45 – Origami Workshop hosted by Nicolle – sign up to create a dog, a heart or a crane.
Where: Woolley Street Courtyard
What to bring and how to register:
Your best paper sculpting skills (creatives and “not-so-arty” types are all welcome).
The demonstrations are for public viewing, but if you’d like to register for the workshops simply sign up on the whiteboard. There will be limited spots available for Makiko’s workshops.
