PhotoAccess presents: Canberra Short Film Festival, Experimental Category

Exhibition and Shows

25 Nov 2021 Once Only Event

Join PhotoAccess and the Canberra Short Film Festival (CSFF) for an intriguing and surprising evening program of films exploring the edges of conventional narrative film-making and the intersections of film-making and video art.

CSFF returns for its 26th year in 2021 and for the first time, in partnership with PhotoAccess, has created a brand new festival category, Experimental Film. PhotoAccess invites you to relax under the stars in the Manuka Arts Centre gardens and experience the best of this category, the debut screening of a curated collection showcasing new works from around the world. Take a journey into fresh and challenging film-making, with works exploring themes of isolation, separation and connection, the nature of Nature, generational knowledge, love and loss and the surreal possibilities of the imagination.

Drinks, nibbles and seats included, but please feel welcome to bring along a picnic rug and some cushions if you want to stretch out.

Don’t miss the rest of the Canberra Short Film Festival. Featuring contemporary short films, animations, music videos and documentaries from around the world, CSFF 2021 runs from 10 – 25 November at numerous locations.
