Piinpi Patch School Holiday Activity

Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

6 Apr 2021 to 16 Apr 2021 Quarterly Event

Why did artist Teagan Cowlishaw use the word ‘deadly’ on her Deadly Kween jumpsuit, featured in the stunning exhibition Piinpi: Contemporary Indigenous Fashion? Visit the National Museum of Australia these school holidays to find out.

Teagan has helped the team at the Museum create a fun, hands-on activity for families.

Explore Piinpi, then make your own fabric patch inspired by Teagan’s Deadly Kween jumpsuit. Where will you sew or pin your patch? On a bag or a T-shirt, or maybe a pillow?

This activity will be managed in line with the Museum’s COVID-19 safety plan.
