Public Art Treasure Hunt #8 – Braddon Nighttime Edition

Community Event

27 Mar 2021 Once Only Event

Have you noticed those cool shadows from the new streetlight? Those shadows – along with many other pieces of under looked beauty – are about to be transformed into a piece of valuable art. All thanks to the power of white gallery labels. And your help

Arrive at the Art Hunt Headquarters in Haig Park (near Lonsdale St) anytime between 7pm and 10:30pm.

You’ll get a map detailing hidden pieces of overlooked beauty (like a broken neon sign or the silhouette of trees) and a set of gallery labels to stick to them.

Find the art, attach the label, take a photo, and win a prize.

This hunt, inspired by Enlighten, will draw you to illuminated treasures found only in the dark.

Free to enter. All ages and abilities welcome.

“I loved seeing the beauty in the little things we never notice. The labels draw other people’s attention to the beauty too!”
– Happy customer from previous hunt.

The event will provide hand sanitiser and be following ACT Health COVID-19 guidelines for your safety. If you have cold or flu like symptoms please stay home.

If you have accessibility requirements please message PeopleLab on Facebook so that they can accommodate your needs. This event is wheelchair accessible.
