Questacon is currently only open for the immersive Questacon Mission to Mars and Questacon Mission to Mars Junior tour experiences. These 90 minute guided tours invite you to explore the science and technology of the red planet. Pre-booked tickets for Mission to Mars is essential. The usual self-guided experience at Questacon is not available yet.

The Mission to Mars experiences are a mix of theatre and exhibition and is a different experience to the usual hands-on activities. Visitors are guided through select galleries and enjoy a range of immersive experiences to gain the skills and knowledge needed to be the first humans on Mars. Experience your first Marsquake, see interactive science experiments and demonstrations, explore the challenges of living on this dynamic planet and visit the only 7 metre Mars globe in the Southern Hemisphere.

Mission to Mars blasts off daily! Pre-booking online by at least 4pm on the day prior to your visit is essential. With a limited capacity per session, tickets sell out quickly. Bookings are not accepted on the day or at the door. Every person attending the tour (including babies and young children) must have a ticket.
