Slow down with tai chi this February with free weekly classes in the city.
The City Renewal Authority is teaming up with the Tai Chi Academy to offer you the chance to try out this mindful martial art as part of the ReNewYou program. Participants can expect smooth, circular movements to help restore internal balance and to induce relaxation and tranquillity.
The class also employs Qigong – an ancient technique for calming the mind and relaxing the body. If you want to try something new, love yoga, or just want to relax whilst exercising then this is for you. These classes are open to everyone and are suitable to all fitness levels.
ReNewYou is a trial program of free, weekly activity classes to encourage people to get out and enjoy their city centre.
A friendly reminder to:

– check in via the CBR Check In app on arrival
– maintain physical distancing throughout the class
– BYO sunscreen and water bottle
– wear comfortable clothes to move in.
