Sew a Toy Softie Workshop

Let your creativity shine in this fun, family-friendly workshop where you will learn to hand sew a soft toy!

POP Canberra maker Leah Bartsch (of Dressed for Sunday and Craft Make Do) will teach you how to design and sew your very own toy softie from felt. You will learn how to cut and create a toy from a drawing and use hand sewing techniques to construct and complete your softie.

This workshop will teach you basic decorative hand sewing skills which can be translated into other projects.

This is an all-ages workshop. It is great for adults wanting to build and strengthen hand sewing skills, but it is also a fun activity to do as a family. The workshop runs for two-and-a-half-hours, so will best suit adults and children aged 10 or up (or children keen and able to use a needle safely).
