Soundbreaking Music Documentary season

Concert or Performance

6 Dec 2019 to 7 Feb 2020

This is your backstage pass to iconic rock stories.

In this season of Australian music documentaries, take a look at the underground, the rebels and the outsiders.

Featuring the iconic cult-rock movement ignited by Radio Birdman in Sydney circa 1974, the life of INXS singer Michael Hutchence told through rare and unseen footage, and Shaun Katz’ feature exploring the rise and fall of the alternative rock scene, this season is a celebration of the rock music world in all its glory.

A must for musicians and music lovers!

Each screening will be accompanied by a Q&A with the director directly after the film.
