The Soul Movers at Harmonie Club

Concert or Performance

2 Jul 2021 Once Only Event

This brand-new addition to The Harmonie Club musical menu is bound to have you Wiggling in your seat! Fronted by charismatic frontwoman Lizzie Mack and her brother in Soul, guitarist (and ex-Red Wiggle) Murray Cook. The Soul Movers include legendary bass player Tony Mitchell (Sherbet), Marko Simec on keys (Waiting For Guinness) plus the magical Matt Crawford on second guitar and bass with drummer to the stars, Luke Herbert.

Murray Cook’s Soul Movers musical recipe combines 1960s-style funky soul with a sprinkling of pop all laid down with a classic rhythm and blues feel. Their latest album, “Evolution” was recorded at Rancom St Studios with producer Garth Porter (Sherbet) at the helm. The first set of the night features 2019’s “Bona Fide” and was recorded across eight legendary American Studios including Sun and Royal Studios!

The Soul Movers shows are all about creating an unforgettable, soul-moving evening that stays with audiences long after the last encore. Don’t miss this dynamic 80-minute show (format: two sets of 40 minutes and a short intermission) it will surely be a night to enjoy and remember, forever!
