Experience Canberra’s premier wildlife sanctuary like never before with the ultimate family sleepover – A Wild Night Out at Tidbinbilla.
For the first time, you can stay at the Wildfest Pop Up Wilderness Family Camp in the park. Explore this 54.5 square kilometre Nature Reserve with specially designed ranger guided activities that offer new ways to learn about the wildlife in this unique landscape, understand the culture of the Ngunnawal people and experience the history of European settlement in the valley.
Tidbinbilla runs one of Australia’s leading endangered species conservation and breeding programs with successful re introductions of the Northern Corroboree Frogs and Southern Brush Tailed Rock Wallabies back into the nature reserve. See these animals in the wild as mother nature intended as well as kangaroos, koalas, platypus, potoroos, wallaroos, possums, wombats, echidnas, emus, lyrebirds, turtles, sugar gliders alongside many other birds and reptiles, explore the diverse geography from the wetlands and Eucalypt forest to the mountains and get an insight into the vital work carried out by the ACT Parks & Conservation team.
This event will continue during future school holidays.
Wake up in the wild and experience Tidbinbilla in a whole new light.
