Learn the art of place-based writing with internationally produced playwright and writer – Emma Gibson.
Immerse yourself in the wonders of Mulligans Flat, then put pen to paper to express your experience.
The workshop will be staged over two sessions in the Sanctuary – a daytime walking-writing experience (approx. 4 hours), and a night time experience (approx 3 hours).
Emma Gibson and Indigenous Ecologists – Kristi Lee and Dhani Gilbert – will take you venturing into the Sanctuary – shining light on the wildlife, ecology and cultural history of the landscape.
Combine art and science with exercises and discussion of language, poetry, written mapping, sensory engagement and bush symbolism.
Draw inspiration from the beauty of Mulligans Flat and its unique wildlife – bettongs, quolls, curlews and an array of protected biodiversity will be there to greet you along the way!
