Hosanna Farmstay

Farmstays

Hosanna Farmstay is a 100-acre family and dog friendly farmstay just behind the busy coastal strip of Northern NSW, offering accommodation, activities and functions for individuals, families, groups, and schools. They are a place designed to get the kids away from those game consoles, and to bring people together, in a fun filled rural setting complete with all the animals you would expect on a farm!

They offer a range of free activities that are very popular with parents and children including a swimming dam with diving board and kayaks, a wood fired sauna, feeding the animals and milking the cows. Activities that have a cost include the Farm Tour and damper making.

Embark on a self-guided expedition in one of the neighbouring national parks or take a kayak down the local creek to the Regional Art Gallery. There is an amazing 500 metre glow worm tunnel within walking distance. If you’re looking for a fun, jam-packed adventure or simply to relax, you’ve come to the right place.

Services

They specialise in providing all of the things that make camping in the country great: large flat grassy sites; campfires for cooking or roasting marshmallows; and, hot clean showers. They also have plenty of included activities. You can meet and play with their farm animals, try your hand at milking the cows, swim in the dam, jump off the diving board or float around in a kayak or inner tube. Little kids will love playing in the creek, using the mud kitchens, playing around in the fort, making bush cubbies and having a go on the various swings.

At night you can adventure down the road to the 500 metre long glow worm tunnel, relax in the wood fired sauna over the dam or just sit back and enjoy a quiet beer around the campfire. Be sure to book your seat on the Farm Tour for the full farm animal experience, the history of Hosanna and a good old farm-style paddy bash.
