The Maclean showground is a great camping spot right on the Clarence River and it is located on a short 800-metre walk into the town centre. Maclean Showground Camp is the prime location to watch the incredible colours of the sun setting over the Clarence River and McFarlane Bridge.
Offering a maximum of 10 campsites, for a three-night stay, it is first-in-first-served basis as you are not able to book your sites. There are designated areas to park with some sites along the river bank, and the rest around the main ring. The sites are all grassed and reasonably flat.
There are minimal facilities with toilets and no showers, but they do have a dump point. Pets are permitted on a leash. No Tents allowed.

AUD12 per vehicle per night. There is an honesty box system in place located on the toilet wall, with forms to be filled out. Please place fees in there and the caretakers will attend either morning or afternoon to collect.
