Squires at The Ruin

The Ruin features a 1 acre block of land including the hosts’ private dwelling, that is a converted stone barn, situated in the Hunter Valley. There are 2 x powered drive through sites available, but that is only if you are camping with friends you wish to join you, otherwise you are the only campers!

The perfect powered campsite is available in the house paddock, but far enough away not to bother campers. The tranquillity is breath-taking! A firepit and firewood is included to make your stay cosy.

They are just 8km from the small township of East Gresford with services, Dungog , 20kms away and the Barrington Tops are at your doorstep.
If you are after a quiet getaway with sensational 360o views, this is the destination for you. The rolling hills of the surrounding area dotted with cattle, offer you a serenity people only dream about.

Kangaroos frequently pass by and 2 horses freely roam the property. If you wish to bring your pet, please contact them for consideration. This would be determined due to stock in paddocks, kangaroos etc.
