When you’re ready for a spectacular holiday that celebrates all the sandy goodness of the beach, gather your nearest and dearest and head for Yagon campground, in Myall Lakes National Park. Nestled behind the dunes in the northern reaches of the park, it’s the perfect spot for happy campers who love the feel of sand beneath their feet.
Not far from Seal Rocks, you’ll soon be unloading the car or trailer with fishing, paddling and boating gear. Once you’ve settled in, it’s time to explore. Submarine Beach walking track will beckon and you’ll spend your days surfing, fishing, swimming, and exploring the golden beaches. Nearby walking tracks link to Mining Road fire trail/Old Gibber fire trail, which provides a taste of the wetlands.
At night, barbecue up a feast and enjoy some stargazing. Before too long, the soothing sounds of distant waves…
