Belgenny Farm

Agri, Mining and Industry

Belgenny Farm is located in historic Camden Park Estate, famous home of agricultural pioneers Elizabeth and John Macarthur. Located only one hour from Sydney, Belgenny Farm has a unique setting and offers a number of picturesque locations, including the famous Granary reception room and beautiful country gardens.

John and Elizabeth Macarthur established the convict-built Belgenny Farm and are ranked among Australia’s great agricultural pioneers. The Macarthurs established Merino wool production, wheat growing, dairying, horticulture, and grape growing.

Today, the property is a major educational centre with direct links to Australia’s agricultural history. It offers specialised educational and environmental tours, giving young people and special interest groups a chance to learn about agriculture and its history in New South Wales.

Belgenny Farm also offers a unique setting for weddings and other special occasions, and hosts a number of themed annual events.
