Camden Saleyards

Agri, Mining and Industry

The true country town atmosphere of Camden is evidenced every Tuesday and Wednesday when local livestock goes under the auctioneer’s hammer to buyers from far and wide.

After having sold livestock at the Camden Saleyards for over half a century, William Inglis and Son marked the end of an era when they made plans to demolish the well-and-truly outdated open air timber sales ring to be replaced by a new stadium-style, fully enclosed selling centre.
