Come and visit Dredges Cottage. A Veterans Recreation Centre, and the only one of its kind in Australia, Dredges Cottage features and displays memorabilia covering all theatres of conflict from the Boer War in 1902 to Vietnam.
Housed in an historic building showcasing late Victorian architecture, the centre gives you the opportunity to learn about past wars, and Campbelltown’s involvement in them.
A memorial wall set in the grounds records the names of local servicemen killed in action in two World Wars. All visitors are welcome. Groups are welcome by appointment.
Tours of Dredge’s Cottage are available each Tuesday and Friday. To book a tour, please contact John by email or mobile.
You can request morning or afternoon tea for a gold coin donation per person. Lunch can also be requested for AUD5 per person.
Due to current health advice on social distancing, please contact the business for the most up to date information regarding opening times and services.
